Toronto Punk Act Bad Waitress “Too Many Bad Habits”

Toronto punk four-piece Bad Waitress have gradually been releasing new music since their 2018 debut Party Bangers: Part 1 EP. Building up a collection of fiery, rambunctious punk tunes, the group are working on a full-length to serve as their premiere effort after signing to Royal Mountain Records and have added to the pile with “Too Many Bad Habits”.

Lifted by their energizing and riff-heavy sound, Bad Waitress rip into the paradox of needing money for their vices with a healthy coat of satire and self-awareness. The fun and riotous track has a bit of a bite as they roar into each chorus with “Nothing can bother me”.

Speaking about the track, the band said “Bad Habits. We all have them and the guilt surrounding them eats us up. This song is a cathartic expression of the frustration that emerges from constantly teetering on the edge. It’s screaming into the faces of the devil and angel whispering in your ear. “Too Many Bad Habits to be this broke'” is a working class battle cry.
