N A I M A Makes Her Debut With Romantic Nu-R&B Track “City Lights”
New York-based artist NAIMA has officially made her debut with her new video and self-produced track “City Lights”. The video, co-directed by NAIMA and Jared Malik Royal, brings the story of two lovers to life as she performs for her partner in vignettes that capture their relationship, soundtracked by the lush synthesizers and haunting vocals.
Expounding more on the concept behind the song and video, NAIMA notes: “The notion of the song itself is about making a fearless declaration of love; to surrender oneself completely to something or someone. To find peace in taking that path – despite all of the chaos and uncertainty that life brings. I believe love is an infinite experience that touches us all. I wanted to create a striking visual to represent that.”
