TALIA Goes The Distance For Love In Music Video For “HML”
After releasing her debut EP headrush at the start of April, future-R&B artist TALIA has shared the cinematic music video for the single “HML”. Stunning landscapes and time-bending cinematography create a visual experience as the rising star delicately sings about encouraging her crush to share their feelings.
She explains, “The music video follows me trying to get in contact with this crush. It travels from a phone line to driving through the desert where I find a phone booth in the middle of nowhere. The phone call transports me to a dreamlike dance sequence in the mountains where I am accompanied by the phone operators you see in the beginning of the video.”
TALIA draws the listener into the narrative with her ethereal R&B vocals, washed over by crisp, slow-burning, neo-soul instrumentation. The moody flow of the song is a welcomed match for the melancholic lover’s tale.
