Austrian Indie Pop Artist OSKA Shares Heartfelt Single “Crooked Teeth”
After moving to Vienna at 18 from a small town in lower Austria, indie pop singer and songwriter OSKA devoted then next chapter in her life to pursue music. Over the last few years, she has been building her discography, introducing her lush vocals and sincere indie pop crafting to the rest of the world.
Although she’s moved away, her roots as a child born into a musical family has followed her, remaining close with her four older siblings. Her latest single “Crooked Teeth” is a tribute to them – in a way. “They’ve all lost friends in tragic ways, and I’m only realizing now how hard that must have been”, OSKA shares. “So, it’s about losing people and, along with them, the ability to be as carefree as we once were. It’s about wishing they were still here, and that we could still laugh like we used to – carefree laughs with carefree smiles, crooked teeth and all.”
