Indigenous Rapper Wolf Castle Shares Lovestruck Single “Summertime Crush” From Upcoming EP
Wolf Castle, the solo project of the New Brunswick-based Indigenous rapper/producer, Tristan Grant, has shared his new single, “Summertime Crush”. It comes as the latest instalment from Grant’s forthcoming EP, Da Vinci’s Inquest, out via Forward Music Group on August 6, 2021.
Drawing influence from the likes of Mac Miller, Da Baby, and tamed Tyler the Creator, “Summertime Crush” highlights Wolf Castle’s bouncing flow and lyricism, as he explores the bubbly feeling of falling in love with someone. “Everybody knows about us, even us,” he explains. “Funny how you can fall for someone and it’s obvious to everyone that you have this. We clearly liked each other but were too afraid to take the first step.”
