NYC Artist Des Rocs Announces Debut LP; Shares Explosive Music Video For New Track “MMC”
Alternative artist Des Rocs has announced his self-produced debut album A Real Good Person in a Real Bad Place, set for release September 24 via 300 Entertainment. As well, the NYC-native will be headlining a tour across the U.S. starting this fall. Building anticipation for his upcoming release and appearances, Des Rocs has shared the explosive and hard-hitting single “MMC” and its gritty music video.
Following his fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping alt-rock style, the accompanying visual throws the “Mickey Mouse Club” into an underground punk show as the darker side of Hollywood creeps out from the shadows. “The ‘MMC’ video is all about losing your soul in the quest for fame and sacrificing who you are for what you think others want from you”, he shares. “I wanted to tell this story and show you what a real show feels like, in case ya forgot.”
With a flare for the theatrical, Des Rocs manages to rock out and entertain in one swift motion, brining out a roaring punk-pop hook and an energizing alt-pop tenacity. Watch the music video below and find tour dates just past.
