Shan Vincent de Paul Showcases The Spirit Of Toronto With “Hard Times” Alongside TiKA

Toronto recording artist and director Shan Vincent de Paul has shared his third single from his upcoming album Made In Jaffna, “Hard Times” featuring TiKA. Serving as a colourful celebration of resilience and the multicultural spirit of Toronto, the song blends together song, dance, and fashion.

“The SVDP x TiKA collab has been long overdue, so this was a dream to finally get her on a record,” says Shan of the song. “It’s about accepting hard times as part of the process and embracing the dark as it comes, learning to dance in the rain. We all have our respective sounds and styles, so it was beautiful to hear it come together,” he adds.

Produced by long-time collaborator La+ch, “Hard Times” is accompanied by a flashy music video that seals in the colours and soul of the city, showcasing Toronto-based St. Lucian designer Kyle Gervacy.
