Stockholm Indie Act Nothing In Common Share Second Single “Starting Over” From Upcoming Debut Album

With the release of their debut album Trips Around the Sun on the horizon, Stockholm-based indie alt-pop group Nothing In Common have shared their second single from the release, “Starting Over”. Despite what their name suggests, the trio of Alice Edstrom, Bo Bjorkman, and Pelle Sundin are a cohesive unit, finding a balance between striking and graceful on the latest single.

Written about starting over after a failed relationship, the song captures the conflicting feelings of moving on. Pulsating synthesizers and Alice Edstrom’s delicate vocals make for a compelling contrast, as the richness of the bass and synthesizers bring out the sincerity and emotion of the lyrics from the opposite end of the spectrum.
