Toronto Indie Pop Artist Mauve Shares Feel-Good Music Video For “Shining Gold”

Since first entering the music scene back in 2017, Toronto-based pop artist Mauve has collected over a million streams with her music, and adding to her growing discography is her latest single “Shining Gold” and its accompanying music video.

Produced by female production duo LYRE, “Shining Gold” brings out the feel-good energy of R&B and dancehall with a pop-forward melody courtesy of Mauve’s bright vocals. Brimming with confidence and positivity, the new single is a self-love anthem: “It’s hard to love yourself if you have a warped sense of who you are supposed to be” says Mauve. “Feeling comfortable in your own skin so you can look at yourself in the mirror and say ‘I’m ok with who I am ‘ is the starting point for others realizing that they are okay with being who they are as well.” 

For the accompanying music video, the high energy and spirited message comes alive through the freestyle dancers.
