Indie Pop Duo Misty Mtn Share New Single “Weren’t Those The Days”
Indie pop duo Misty Mtn have shared the title track from their forthcoming EP Weren’t Those The Days, out November 5th. The pair of Mo Trunzo and Lucas Segall once again create a dreamy and inviting soundscape filled with lush synthesizers and angelic vocals for the new single.
“Lucas and I started making music together when we were both living in Brooklyn, NY. It was a time in both our lives that felt like such a struggle, but so romantic at the same time”, Mo shares. “When we started writing ‘Weren’t Those the Days’ life was feeling miles away from anything resembling that period. Discussing that brought on all this imagery for a song about being reminded of an ex-lover by the sights and sounds of the things you shared.”
With their new home of Los Angeles just a few weeks away, the pair jump ahead to the sun-kissed influences of the West Coast with their laidback synth-pop songwriting.
