Genre-bending Alternative Artist Goldly The Ruler Will Do Anything For Love In New Music Video “off with your head”

Nigeria-born, Chicago-raised alternative artist Goldly the Ruler is the most recent signee to Vancouver label Everything Forever. Their genre-bending style combines the worlds of punk, rock, electronic, pop, and hip-hop on the new single “off with your head”, accompanied by a combined live action and 3D visual. “off with your head is a soundscape that draws on my various influences to deliver a larger than life musical experience. The accompanying video similarly blends live action and 3D cinematography to offer a gory answer to the question ‘what are we willing to do for the ones we love?’”, explains Godly.

The video was shot in Los Angeles over a two-day period and directed by Augie Voss with animations by rising Canadian digital artist Jovy Bergen (Curtis Waters, JEN Z), and mirrors the abrasive and exhilarating musicality of the track.
