Introducing: NYC Indie Rock Outfit Slow Fiction Hit The Nostalgia Button For Debut Release “Niagara”

Since forming via Craigslist Ads and mutual friends, New York-based indie rock outfit Slow Fiction began writing music in the early days of 2021. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Julia Vassallo, the five-piece are inspired by poetry, 2000s indie rock, and their fresh friendship, the band have shared their debut release “Niagara”. Short and sweet, the 2-minute introduction brings out the warm, dance-rock guitars of The Strokes with bedroom-style vocal production for a charming and nostalgic tune.
