Rising Punk Act Anxious Bring On Pat Flynn of Fiddlehead For New Single “Let Me” Off Upcoming Debut Full-Length

Since forming back in Connecticut back in 2016, rising punk act Anxious are gearing up to release their debut full-length Little Green House on January 21st via Run For Cover Records. The group have shared the latest single “Let Me”, which features guest vocals from Fiddlehead/Have Heart vocalist Pat Flynn.

Blending the timeless aggression and melodic qualities of hardcore punk with contemporary pop-punk songwriting, Anxious find an entrancing middle ground on the new single. Written about vocalist Grady Allen’s experience growing up through a divorce, “Let Me” becomes a cathartic release. About the song, Grady shares: “‘Let Me”is a song about coming to terms with my parent’s divorce. I think I spent much of my time as a young person (both the divorce and during) trying to be a resource to both of my parent’s frustration and anger despite the deep emotional toll it took on me. The song is me grappling with two roads to take: either be deeply invested in both of my parents’ pain and place myself secondary- or remove myself from the situation and leave my parents’ with one less person to talk to.”

Anxious are touring heavily in support of Little Green House. Starting in February the band will embark on a lengthy run of U.S. shows with Knuckle Puck, Hot Mulligan, and Meet Me @ The Altar. Listen to “Let Me” below and check out the full itinerary just past.
