Australian Composer Matthew Liam Nicholson Switches Gears For New Psych-Rock Single “The Worm Turns”

After steadily releasing music in 2021, including an instrumental guided meditation album Nine Movements, California-based, Australian composer Matthew Liam Nicholson returns to his indie rock/experimental roots for his latest single “The Worm Turns”. Incorporating psychedelic, prog, and dream-pop, the new single is a dynamic and stimulating release that promotes a euphoric message of love and progress. Matching its shimmery, ethereal feel, the accompanying visual combines kaleidoscopic visuals with colourful effects and trippy colour swarms.

“The Worm Turns” will be on Nicholson’s upcoming album Universal Outsider, available later this year.
