Rising Indie Pop Artist Ella Lockert Unveils New Single “Excuses”

17-year old indie pop artist Ella Lockert has been busy building a loyal and devoted fanbase since dropping her debut EP last year. The Norwegian emerging artist is the latest to join the growing wave of female pop artists, boasting a powerful and captivating vocal quality well beyond her years. On her latest single “Excuses”, Lockert uses her talent to lead a radio-ready hit.

As for its message, she shares: “It’s a reminder on how we sometimes fool ourselves – the excuses we tell ourselves when we don’t succeed. We use them to keep doing what we do and not change our ways. And the frustration you face when you admit it to yourself, it’a bit..uncomfortable”.
