Vegas Hip-Hop Artist Levi Bryce Brings Along Friends Rob Williams & AYAKA For New Single “FRNDZ?”
UP-and-coming hip-hop artist Levi Bryce has teamed up with fellow emerging pals Rob Williams and AYAKA for the slick, and jazzy neo-R&B tune “FRNDZ?”.
With its lo-fi production and ’90s R&B undertones, the song shares similarities to contemporary favourites such as Cautious Clay, The Internet, and Daniel Caesar.
About the song, Bryce shares: “What inspired me to write this song was that throughout the past couple of years I had noticed that I had ruined a lot of relationships unintentionally. I’m not a very empathetic person most of the time and I tend to be a bit selfish and distant, I dislike these aspects of my personality and work on them everyday. This song is to apologize to those that have fallen victim to my ignorance of others emotions. My verse specifically is for a very special person that probably doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore, however, I can accept that and move on, this songs is a hope for a better year of relationships.”
The playful alternating verses and breezy demeanour of the track makes for an enjoyable listening experience. Listen below:
