PREMIERE: Emerging Nashville Indie Pop Artist Emma Klein Embraces The Rollercoaster Of Emotions In New Video “Mood Swing”

Nashville-based pop artist Emma Klein found herself on the right side of the internet back in 2021 when her song “Mood Swing” racked up 4.2 million TikTok views – before being released. With a mountain of viral momentum behind her, along with opening for Dermot Kennedy in the summer of 2021, Klein has shared her new video for “Mood Swings”, capturing the song’s emotional awareness and playful vulnerability.

“The “Mood Swing” music video was a BLAST to dream up and create”, Klein shares. “I wanted the visual portrayal of this song to be as dramatic and over the top as possible. It probably doesn’t look like it, but when I’m in the thick of one of my mood swings, I feel like each of the characters in this video. I’ve always felt like there are all these different personalities inside of me, but I only let the softer, more easy-going, “sunny” version out. This music video gave me the opportunity to express the extremes that exist within me for the first time. It turns out that borrowing your roomies combat boots and aggressively ripping bananas in half can be pretty therapeutic”.

Embossed in a charming southern glow, “Mood Swing” showcases Emma’s knack for constructing catchy, irresistible pop hooks, rounded out by her strong personality and confidence to share it with her audience.

Aiming for a refreshing sense of relatability, Klein continues, “If you’re an angsty teen, married, single and can’t keep a relationship, diagnosed with a mood disorder, or just a person that experiences being generally moody, this song is for you. This song is the anthem for when you wake up in a good mood and immediately get stuck in traffic. It’s the anthem for when you suddenly can’t stand being around the person you felt madly in love with a minute ago. ‘Mood Swing’ is an anthem for being human”.
