Ottawa Alt-Pop Duo Apollo Rising Share New Music Video “Where Are We Going?”

Ottawa-based alternative electronic duo Apollo Rising have shared their new single and video “Where Are We Going?”.

Influenced by the likes of Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, and The Neighbourhood, the pair of vocalist Danick Coutu and drummer Colvin Gallant, combine bedroom-electronic production with melody pop hooks for moody, yet catchy songs built on a strong work ethic and independent spirit.

Directed and produced by Novoviso Production, the band worked together to merge the song and visuals together for “Where Are We Going?”.  Depicting the band struggling to re-discover their love and passion for music, the music video captures themes of “depression, addiction, disillusionment, and the power of choice”. Shot entirely in their hometown of Ottawa, the video shows off stunning aerial shots of the band performing, surrounded by colorful autumn scenery contrasted by the grimy alleyway shots.
