Producer/DJ Josh One has shared his new single “Sacrifice”, featuring lyrical wordsmiths Aloe Blacc and Demetrius Rhymes. Built on a foundation of stoic West Coast hip-hop beats, the new single is a power-hungry tune that weaves poetic wordplay with splashy horns and a subtle funk-forward bounce. About the single, Aloe Blacc shares, “Demetrius Rhymes is one of the industry’s finest emcees and Josh One has been a longtime collaborator and friend with a unique organic style. The lyrics, already powerful, fit perfectly with the sonic foundation so I just tried to tie the theme together between verses.
