Emo Act TRSH Ruin Another Birthday On Latest Single “Garbage Fire”
Midwest emo band TRSH have shared their new single “Garbage Fire”. Riddled with self-deprecation and regret, the song leans into its hardcore-emo origins with its lyrical inspiration. “This song is about showing up to your girlfriends birthday party, loaded on pills, and you start throwing up everywhere and ruin everything like usual”, the band share. “Trying to figure out why you can’t get out of this cycle of failure“.
Bouncing between hardcore and basement emo, the song’s ebb and flow projects its instability into the musicality. Fans of Modern Baseball and Hot Mulligan will find an alluring similarity to TRSH.
