Hip-hop Artist redveil Releases Sam Truth-Assisted Single “better”
Maryland’s very own redveil has offered up a second single from his upcoming album learn 2 swim, slated for release on his 18th birthday – April 20th.
The song beautifully captures a rising young star at the intersections of life, most notably the strange intersection of stardom itself – “blessing and a curse when you start to touch the limelight” he sings. Though the featured vocalist Sam Truth is only 3 years senior to redveil, his embracing and affirming hook rings out as passed down wisdom to the soon-to-be opening act touring with the likes of Freddie Gibbs and Denzel Curry.
To top it all off, redveil entirely self-produced “better”, along with the entirety of the full-length project. From the open hat embellishments to the show-stopping lead synth that brings an extra element of brightness to the song, the intricacies of the beat embolden the already strong vocal performances brought on by both redveil and Sam Truth.
