EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Vancouver Indie Rock Group Royal Oak Share New Single “End Of The Night”
With their new album on the horizon, Vancouver indie rock four-piece Royal Oak have shared their latest single “End of the Night”. Their third release ahead of their upcoming full-length, the new single leans into their pop influences for an upbeat and groovy offering. Fans of alt-pop bands The Band CAMINO and COIN will find an irresistible energy emitting through their speakers, as hints of disco and EDM find their way into the production.
Rich with late-night vibes and neon-coloured synthesizers, “End of the Night” showcases a new direction for the band as they continue to evolve their sound. Lead vocalist Austin Ledyard elaborates, “End of the Night was the first song we wrote for this upcoming record and was really a turning point for us in both our songwriting and overall musical style. Being able to finally release this song is such a great feeling, as I think this helps show the vastly different styles that we’ve been playing with while writing and producing this record.”
“End of the Night” will be available on all streaming services on April 22nd, and the band will be supporting the release with their first live show since 2019 in Vancouver at the Biltmore Cabaret on April 29th. Royal Oak are planning on rolling out a handful of singles over the next year, with their album expected Spring 2023.
