For California-based rapper Raza, his journey to becoming a recording artist and motivational speaker has not been a straight one.
From being part of the foster care system from the age of one, to a tumultuous childhood with his adopted family, and then a near-death experience with addiction and mental health after barely out of high school, Raza found music to be his saving grace.
With a handful of singles out and a budding career, his ascent is well-deserved, and his latest single “YIKES” is a nod to his shift in life. His cool delivery flows over a punchy trap beat, as Raza exudes a tangible confidence on the new single.
