It takes mere seconds of “Half Hearted Lover” to be swallowed up in the warmth of UK-based alt R&B artist Micayl’s sweet tones and meandering guitar.

Highly indicative of influences from Frank Ocean and Leon Bridges, the new single boasts mesmerizing harmonies, and perfectly muted percussion.
