Dutch Pop-Punk Act allcaps. Share Latest Single “summer end” Off Freshly Released EP ‘my fantasy // my enemy’

Hailing from the small town of Eindhoven, The Netherlands, pop-punk five-piece allcaps. have shared their latest single “summer end”, the final track from their new EP my fantasy // my enemy. Despite their European hometown, the group have a sound rich in American emo and pop-punk, bringing forth elements of Jimmy Eat World, Knuckle Puck, and The Story So Far into their music, as they aim to give the genre new life in their part of the world.

About the EP, the group share, “[It] consists of five songs about how your thoughts are your enemy. ‘my fantasy // my enemy’ has a psychological theme hidden in an uptempo layout. Despite the serious subject, the guys take themselves anything but seriously. The energetic atmosphere is easily measurable and is reflected in the songs. Making music, that’s what it’s all about“.

“summer end” acts as the album’s closing track, and summarizes its ongoing message. Rich with melancholic and angsty lyricism, the song eventually opens up into a roaring finale – not complete without a much-needed breakdown.
