Swiss Shoegaze Act Don’t Kill The Beast Share Summer-Ready Hit “Anxiety”
Swiss indie rock group Don’t Kill The Beast, lead by singer-songwriter David Blum, have shared their second single following a four year hiatus with the glossy hit “Anxiety”.
Inspired by dreamy ’90s shoegaze and the simplicity of warm guitar pop, “Anxiety” is a bag of mixed emotions, as the upbeat and chipper musicality is contrasted by an open dialogue of dealing with anxiety, rounded out by an inviting and welcoming sense of support. Blum’s echoing vocals and lively guitar riffs give “Anxiety” its charm.
