Brighton Alt-Punk Trio All Better Share New Single “Dramatics” From Recently Released Debut Full-Length
Brighton alt-punk trio All Better recently shared new single “Dramatics.” The track is the latest to be taken from their newly released debut album, How To Be Alone, released on May 6th. The album follows two previously released EPs since 2018, with the latest single remaining true to the group’s blend of high energy punk riffs and infectious alt-rock/pop hooks.
Opening with a guitar riff that carries through the track, vocals, drums and bass quickly follow suit. The chorus packs a punch as it alternates with verses; the bridge brings in crashing guitars and heavier guitar, all while preserving the tempo and tone introduced at the song’s start.
Commenting on the track, the band said: “”Dramatics” is about the struggles of seeking to improve your life. It’s one journey to identify the changes you want for yourself, but to actively try and become that change often invites even more struggle. As we observe our own failures and lapse into deeper self-loathing, it can feel futile, but sometimes just understanding that you hate where you are is ultimately the seed that will eventually take root, someday, somehow. The song is for anyone who is in that place now. Stay with yourself.”
Along with the new single and new album, All Better are currently on tour in the UK.
