American Post-Hardcore Act Cicadia Share New Single “Teeth” Featuring Joey Holiday

Oklahoma City post-hardcore five-piece Cicadia have shared their new single “Teeth”, bringing along vocalist Joey Holiday.

Falling in line with bands such as At The Drive In, Fall of Troy, and Coheed & Cambria, the new single is a fast-firing offering propelled forward by mathrock guitar riffs and alternating clean & hardcore vocals. About the song, the band share: “‘Teeth’ is about war from a civilian perspective. Oddly enough, written before the invasion on Ukraine. The song preludes Whoops, our previous release which was about the devastation of nuclear war, the subsequent fallout into isolation and the affects of such isolation on the mental state”.

Keeping true to the genre, Cicadia combine rapid instrumentation with striking topics on “Teeth”, making for a captivating listening experience.
