NYC Indie Folk Act Moon Hound Release New Single “Once Your Son”

New York City group Moon Hound have shared their first single from their upcoming Wait For Nothing. A wonderfully lush and detailed tune, “Once Your Son” is heavily influenced by the likes of Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, and Wilco, as they rummage through instrumentation with a peacefully-stimulating urgency. Written about the tale of Icarus’s life and fall, and influenced by Bruegel’s “Landscape with the Fall of Icarus”, the art-folk piece is a mesmerizing exploration of art and music.
