Stockholm-Based Hip-Hop Artist Jeffrey Oliver Drops New Single “Not My Friends”

Swedish alt-hip-hop artist Jeffrey Oliver spent his childhood listening to Lil Wayne and Nelly, and now as a solo artist in his own right, aims to incorporate the R&B influence of the past into his contemporary hip-hop style on his new single “Not My Friends”.

As his career continues to march forward, Oliver has hit obstacles and speed bumps with relationships and distractions. His new single delves into his struggle to find a balance, while paying homage to his heroes.

“It was really challenging to make this song because I’m trying to leave the emo-stuff behind, but also staying real with my current fans. Hopefully they will continue to follow my journey as a grow as an artist because I really feel that I’m onto better things with this song.”
