Australian Producer Sonny Grin Unveils New Single “Move Like This” Featuring Angelo The Poet
Sydney producer/songwriter Sonny Grin has teamed up with Angelo the Poet for a slick new single “Move Like This”. With an uncanny resemblance to the groovy styles of Kaytranada, Channel Tres, and Goldlink, the song merges neo-soul, house, and hip-hop for a punchy late-night dance hit.
“I always try and use as much live instrumentation as I can when I’m writing, it’s something I feel gives life to the whole track and allows the instrumental to move and accommodate the performance of the vocal”, Sonny shares. “Angelo has such an incredible dynamic range, so I wanted the beat to highlight those different parts of his tonality and flow throughout the song.”
The subtle warmth of the live instrumentation gives “Move Like This” an organic energy, similar to the natural excitement of a perfect night out.
