PREMIERE: Italian Singer-Songwriter Sara Cruz Shares Her Travels In New Video For “2Two Wrongs”

With a new album in the works, Italian singer-songwriter Sara Cruz has unveiled her new single and video “2Two Wrongs”. Inspired by ’80s synth-pop and dreamy electronica, the new single is a melancholic and bittersweet offering that stays true to her angelic and ethereal style.

“’2Two Wrongs’ is the second single that anticipates the new album I’m working on”, Sara shares. “It definitely feels like drawing from the spangly sounds of 80’s synth-pop, I really enjoyed the making of this production, which I share with talented music producer Marco Bertini. While I’m of course happy and blessed to keep on enjoying making music, feelings of bittersweetness and sadness are echoing my footsteps a little bit at this particular time, as I’m dealing with the very recent and sudden loss of a great friend and music partner – Jonathan Craig Jones – that has tragically passed away. Only three months ago I did another campaign for the single we did together, so it feels a little strange and new doing music without him. On the other hand the rest of my music team is incredible and their love & support is so, so precious“.

Capturing the song’s glossy and vintage influences, the accompanying video travels around the shores of Europe, layered with a rich sepia and film texture. Sara continues: “The music video was shot between Italy and Turkey, while I was on holiday with my husband, and it encloses beautiful natural places that are really inspiring to me, bringing back peaceful memories“.
