Vancouver Producer AVANNI Shares New Single “Enclave” From Ambitious Debut Album ‘anthrophobia’

Vancouver-based bedroom producer AVANNI recently put out his debut full-length anthrophobia. The 20 year old artist, who produced the record from his bedroom, has added to the record’s promotion with its electro-pop inspired single “ENCLAVE”.

Nodding to the production styles of Madeon and Porter Robinson, the flashy new single leans into its record’s title, as AVANNI shares:

“[It is] a song that I hold dear to me. This song deals with themes such as social anxiety, first impressions and just generally feeling isolated and outcast from society. The production style and pacing is based off of changing moods having to do with mental health. For example the fast-paced electro drop at the beginning can be compared to racing thoughts and the chill lyrical section can be compared to shifting moods and a neutral mental state“.

With a warped metronome providing a steady, pulsating foundation, “ENCLAVE” hides the anxiety-based context through catchy hooks and upbeat EDM production.
