Indie Rock Outfit Ponte Pilas Bow Down To Iggy Pop With New Single “San Ignacio” Off Forthcoming Debut LP

With their debut album Old Enough To Know Better set for release on August 26th, German indie rock group Ponte Pilas have shared their latest single “San Ignacio”. Inspired by their biggest hero Iggy Pop, the new single (right down to the artwork), is a nod to his energizing ’80s rock style.

Upbeat and gritty, “San Ignacio” brings out hints of UK post-punk with new wave elements littered across courtesy of synthesizers and splashy bass lines. Incorporating the slow-burning guitars and vocals of grunge rock, the track gradually finds a cathartic release by its final moments for an explosive finale.
