Bad Heather Embraces Desire On Lustful New Single “One Pass”
Utah native Porter Chapman is set to release his new EP under his alter ego Bad Heather. Titled Sad Heather, the upcoming project is the follow-up to 2021’s Bad Heather.
Coming into the scene as a touring drummer, his percussive alt-pop style shines through on the punchy new single “One Pass”.
“‘One Pass’ is about being attracted to someone else in a relationship. Just physical though, not relationship shit. When you’re single, you’re surrounded by sex positivity. Everyone is telling you to have as much casual sex as you want, but when you’re in a relationship, suddenly you have to turn all of those desires off. I’m not telling anyone what to do in this situation, just what I’m feeling“.
Choppy production and an explosive chorus give the tongue-in-cheek tune its desirable energy, with Bad Heather showcasing his dynamic songwriting style.
