London Producer Adam Hinden Teams Up With Aussie Singer-Songwriter Ryan O’Keefe For Stunning New Single “Blue Skies”
Virginia-born, London-based producer Adam Hinden has developed a reputation as a compelling producer, known for his lush and textural style, having worked with Hollow Coves, FEELDS, Novelist, Samuel Nicholson, My Brothers And I, The Beamish Brothers, and RYD.
His latest collaboration comes in the form of a cross continental project alongside Australian singer-songwriter Ryan O’Keefe.
“I came across Adam’s work completely by chance”, Ryan shares. “But one listen and I was hooked. Adam’s songs have such a unique warmth and texture that is difficult to put into words. You really have to hear it for yourself”.
Evoking similarities to the likes of James Blake, Bon Iver, and Vancouver Sleep Clinic, “Blue Skies” is a dreamy and ethereal offering, elevated further by O’Keefe’s rich vocal textures.
Elaborating further, Ryan continues:
“To me, the song is about putting away things in the past and focusing on the good things here and now. No matter what’s going on, there’s always something positive to focus on and appreciate. It’s nothing but blue skies baby.
As for the song itself, what really excites me about the song is just the scale and depth we’ve been able to achieve. Its bright, it’s detailed, it’s warm, there’s just so much to it. I couldn’t be more proud of how it’s turned out”.
