Indie Rock Duo Handsome Ghost Share New Single “Neptune”

Massachusetts-based indie rock duo Handsome Ghost, comprised of Tim Noyes and Eddie Byun, have shared their new single “Neptune”. With a new body of work on the way, the group have continued to showcase a more focused and laidback indie rock style on the latest release.

Based on a unnamed real-life “character” of sorts, “Neptune” paints a picture of an eccentric woman walking down the street, and the day that follows. About the song, the band share, “That the scene basically played out word for word down on the lower east side a few years ago. And that was the inspiration behind this character. From there it was just flushing things out a bit with these other little moments that the two spend together over the course of the day”.

Patient vocals, steady drums, and dreamy guitar tones give “Neptune” its reflective energy, as the listener gets a more fleshed out image of its protagonist.
