INTRODUCING: Electronic Hip-Hop Artist HoneyElextric Drops Fresh Dance Anthem “Jungle Juice”
For Washington, D.C. producer HoneyElextric, music has been in her blood since day 1. Her father was involved in the ’90s hip-hop world and passed on his knowledge and experience to her, setting up her first home studio at the age of 11. With years of production experience under her belt, the young artist released her debut EP earlier this year and has unveiled her new single “Jungle Juice”.
Incorporating dense, bass kicks of future house with choppy modern hip-hop production, the single is an anthem for “smaller body women”, she shares. “We don’t get showcased as much in the industry and I wanted a fun song to encourage everyone to love their body and just have fun all around. Jungle juice is an alcoholic beverage but for me it means you have the “swag” you’re unpredictable and fun“.
Elements of ’00s Missy Elliott and the confidence of Princess Nokia slip through the commanding dance track, with HoneyElextric giving it her own unique flare through her production.
