Canadian Indie Pop Artist Ruby Waters Deals With Her Issues With “Open Arms” On New Single From Upcoming EP

Slated to release her third EP later this year, Canadian indie pop artist Ruby Waters has returned with her new single “Open Arms”. Lead by her rich, soulful vocals, the new single is an anthem about dealing with life and all that it throws at you with “open arms”.

I wrote “Open Arms” in Spain last spring at a song writing camp I was lucky to be invited to. The song came so naturally. [It’s] about how I like to deal with shit, my outlets, and how to handle the ups and downs. It doesn’t always have to be a weakness or a problem to be depressed or overwhelmed, it can sometimes just be a part of life, and however you cope with it isn’t something to be ashamed of.

Equal parts reassuring and catchy, “Open Arms” is a positivity-filled track that showcases Waters’ value as a hidden Canadian gem.
