Windsor Grunge Act Huron Lines Raise Awareness For Suicide Prevention Week With New Single “Blacklight”

As National Suicide Prevention Week in the U.S. wraps up, there is still a need for awareness all year long. Windso-based grunge-rock group Huron Lines have shared their latest single “Blacklight”, which was released during the campaign week, but calls out to the ongoing need to break the silence.

Through their visceral and gritty hard rock style, the band bring attention to the often-unspoken mental health suffered by men and the silence that comes with it. Written during the pandemic, the relevance of loneliness and despair comes out in their songwriting, mirroring the energy and vigor of Preoccupations and Japandroids. “Blacklight” will be on the band’s upcoming sophomore album Found in Floods.
