Edinburgh-Based Singer-Songwriter Rosie H Sullivan Reflects On Difficult Memories On Compelling New Single “What A Life”

Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Rosie H Sullivan has shared her new single “What A Life”, her first since announcing her signing to Nettwerk Records and a year following her stunning debut single “So It Is“.

Showcasing her angelic vocals and vulnerable lyricism, the new single captures the captivating simplicity of the genre while finding space for Sullivan to share her personal insecurities.

Speaking about ‘What A Life’, Rosie H Sullivan said: “This song is very personal and completely transparent; I wrote it at a difficult time, full of uncertainty and change. The lyrics are very close to my heart, and I think this really comes through. I needed to get into the zone for this one – I got myself back to the headspace I was in when I wrote the song and just sat and sang my emotions out”

The stripped back performance gradually expands into a lush soundscape, ushering the emerging artist’s vocals to the forefront as the wave of raw emotion and sound crash over the listener.
