Post-Hardcore Group Martyr For Madison Share Supportive New Single “The Depths”

Grand Rapids-based post-hardcore group Martyr For Madison are set to release their upcoming EP So I Guess This Is Progress… on December 16th. Having teased the release with a handful of singles thus far, the group have added to it with “The Depths”.

Heavily influenced by the world of pop-punk and emo ballads, “The Depths” is a nod to their drummer: “We wrote this song as a message to our drummer who was grieving from the loss of his mother. It was difficult for us to watch him go through that, and we wanted to make sure he knew we were there for him”.

With names like Pierce the Veil and My Chemical Romance stirring headlines, “The Depths” finds a nostalgic mix between emotional and hook-driven, showing their chemistry as a band both musically and spiritually.
