Austin Indie Rock Artist EVNTYD Announces Debut Album With Latest Single “Gas Pump”

EVNTYD (pronounced ‘eventide’), the musical project of Julián Berdegué, first came onto the scene back in October 2021, after releasing his debut single. Having written a number of singles during the pandemic, Berdegué has compiled a note-worthy handful into his upcoming full-length Eventide, due January 2023.

The self-taught multi-instrumentalist combines slacker rock with dreamy shoegaze effects for a maxed-out lo-fi sound. Leading the way is his new single “Gas Pump”, nodding to ’90s grunge and alternative shoegaze bands for the guitar-driven release.

“It’s a song about calling it off. At the time, I was trying to weather the storm of the pandemic with my band. When it became clear that everyone else was losing steam, I decided to start a solo project, enter EVNTYD“, Berdegué shares.
