Hamilton Indie Artist Melissa Marchese Shares Motown-Inspired Single “Sirens”

With her new album Mad Love out into the world, Hamilton-based singer-songwriter Melissa Marchese has shared its new focus single “Sirens”. Inspired by the horn-centric swing of Motown and blues, the new single is an anthemic offering about climate change and returning the focus to its existential importance.

“The wrath we are already beginning to experience from humans’ destruction of the planet does not discriminate, and we should wake up and do something while we still can“, she rallies.

With a heavy message at its core, Marchese balances it out with her charming vocals and lively soul influences.
