Los Angeles Indie Pop Artist Skofee Lets Go On New Single “Quicksand”

Los Angeles-via-Wichita indie pop artist Skofee began to make waves as an emerging pop artist with her 2020 debut EP Polished. With her next collection set to arrive in the coming weeks, Skofee has been building momentum with a handful of singles over the last year. Her latest is the lush synth-pop track “Quicksand”.

While the blonde hair, blue eyes, and Scandinavian-sounding moniker may have served as a red herring for the American artist, her new single fits comfortably in the indie pop sphere of the northern European countries. Finding a similar glossy feel to the likes of Bo Milli, Dagny, and Moyka, Skofee transports her sound to be amongst her peers in a different timezone.

Written as an ode to finding the strength and courage to find a way out of a situation that leaves you feeling stuck, “Quicksand” easily provides the energy to make the change.
