Montreal Alt-Pop Artist dee holt Shares Animated Video For New Single “Sober”

Since releasing her debut EP When I Close My Eyes earlier this year, Montreal alt-pop artist dee holt has continued to shine with her new single “Sober”, and its accompanying animated music video.

Mixing together lively pop influences with a smooth, playful backbeat rhythm, “Sober” contrasts its vibrant pop musicality with a darker message underneath. She shares, “Have you ever seen someone close to you fall down a bad path? Or watch them self-sabotage? Or do all the wrong things just to try to fit in? “Sober” is about that. It’s about not recognizing someone you were once close to. It’s about watching someone you love slowly fade away from themselves in search of something artificial.”

Nevertheless, the song is catchy and crisp, adding to dee’s glowing & growing discography.
