Americana singer-songwriter Joe Nolan released his seventh album Lost Verses at the end of October on Bandcamp exclusively, but fans can find it elsewhere virtually on December 16th. From the collection is the poignant new single “The Losing Game” and its matching music video.

Written about leaving the small town for bigger and better things, “The Losing Game” finds a refreshing middle ground between being optimistic and understanding the risks that come with change. His rustic vocals and patient acoustic guitar strumming make for a delicate ballad, accompanied by Los Angeles-based trumpeter COULOU to round out the folk sound.
