Vancouver Hip-Hop Artist Teon Gibbs Lets Romance Fall Into Place On New Single “Easy”
Vancouver-based hip-hop artist Teon Gibbs has made the most of 2022, having released a handful of singles. His latest is “Easy”, an R&B-inspired track about enjoying the unobstructed flow of a new romance. Featuring Jaspa, Jonny Tobin, and Falcxne to round it out, the group effort is a sleek and down-to-earth love song. Featuring Potatohead People’s Nate Drobner on bass, “Easy” is a groovy offering that brings together the dreamy emotions of falling in love with the fulfilling contemporary production style of acts like The Weeknd and Brent Faiyaz.
About the song, Teon shares, “It embodies the joy of a new relationship as you try to hold onto those moments of new love. It’s inspired by someone special who I had history with; when we finally figured things out, and moved on from just being friends, everything just felt right; it was really good. It was easy.”
