Dutch Electronicore Artist Daniel Brooke Shares Haunting New Single “4 A.M. (At An Unknown House)”

Dutch post-hardcore artist Daniel Brooke is set to release six new tracks over the next few months. Now onto his 2nd release from the series, the songwriter/producer has shared “4 A.M. (At An Unknown House)”. Drawing strong influences from mid-career Bring Me the Horizon, Asking Alexandria, and a splash of Attack Attack!, the electronicore-tinged track is a haunting and mysterious hardcore release.

Balancing ferocious instrumentation with alternating clean and aggressive vocals, the song delves into the topic of the vicious cycle and addiction. About the song, Brooke shares:

“It’s 4 am and you’re at an unknown house. The sun is coming up and the birds are starting to chirp. All the feelings you’ve been drinking away are beginning to come to the surface again, but they weigh heavier than before. This song is about that vicious cycle, weekend after weekend, you keep coming back to that house on the white hill, and you’re never really able to leave“.
