Mokita & Augustana Share Stunning New Single “Echo”

Nashville-based singer-songwriter/producer Mokita (real name John-Luke Carter) released his latest EP Color Me In at the end of October. Expanding further on his folk-centric style, the release continued to showcase his rustic vocal qualities and personable songwriting style.

Finishing off the year with one more release, Mokita has teamed up with iconic songwriter/pianist Dan Layus of Augustana for the stunning new single “Echo”. The duet between Carter and Layus is nothing short of mesmerizing, as layers of vocal harmonies help build a wider wall of sound. The emotional ballad balances the expressive piano arrangement with the pairs’ passionate performance.
